Feeding Animals at Hotel Kimberly’s Farm! (Tagaytay, Philippines)

It was just a short morning visit but definitely one that we’ll remember for a long time! We visited Hotel Kimberly’s mini animal farm and you can bet that Luke was more than excited to get the opportunity to feed and interact with these adorable animals!

Hotel Kimberly

Hotel Kimberly is located in Tagaytay City and yes, there’s a mini animal farm right inside its premises! We didn’t stay overnight for this trip as we were checking in at Escala Tagaytay (also worth a visit!) but we made sure to drop by for a while so Luke can go exploring!

If you’re looking for a fun, outdoor activity with your kids while you’re in Tagaytay, this is a great family-friendly stop.

Bonfire and movie night sounds like a lot of fun! We’ll bring Luke back again next time for an overnight trip (and hopefully with our new baby too!) so we can experience those!

Hehe, how cute is this sign?

Feeding Time!

We arrived a little late and feeding time was already over, technically. (TIP: Call ahead and ask what’s the schedule for feeding so you don’t come disappointed!) But thankfully, kuya the caretaker, allowed us to feed the bunnies a few leaves! Yay!

Oh, if only you could hear Luke as he was feeding the bunnies. He kept saying “Don’t fight, share the leaves! Your turn, your turn!” Hehehe. He wanted to make sure that all the bunnies were fed equally. It was the sweetest thing.

Also tried feeding these rams but they were a bit more aggressive and pulled hard. Luke (and Mor) got a little scared. Haha!

But huhu baby lamb. Aren’t they just the cutest?!

Realization: Need to get Luke to go see more animals up close so he becomes braver. Haha. Look at him pulling my hand away at the beginning!

They also had other animals around the area like this peacock, chickens and even turkeys!

Yes, there was an Iguana too (and a baby chick!)

There was also a little pony out in the open grass. We thought it would be nice to have a photo of Luke riding on top of it but…

Luke didn’t wanna ride on it on his own, but the pony is too big for Mor to ride on, so, we’ll settle with a pat instead!

After the Farm

After going around the farm, we stopped by the playground and had a little fun.

Had lunch at the restaurant after and by the time we finished, it was just the perfect time to check-in at our hotel (Read related article: Escala Hotel Tagaytay)

Overall

Overall, we really enjoyed this place. When we went there wasn’t a crowd at all (maybe because official feeding time is over) so it was a very intimate experience. It felt like we had the farm to ourselves! Great place to bring smaller children and I’d imagine a great first animal encounter experience too!

Even if you don’t intend to stay overnight (just like what we did,) you can avail of their day trip packages to experience their facilities. Visit their website at www.hotelkimberly.com for more info!
