A List of FREE Online Resources for Kids While on Quarantine

Twinkl 2-min

COVID-19 is horrible and it has changed our lives in so many ways. But if you’re one of those who can stay home comfortably with the kids, count yourself blessed.

Amidst all the chaos this season though, it is a blessing that so many companies have stepped up and are offering great resources for kids, for free. Sharing with you some of our personal favorites. I hope it will be useful to your family as well.

  • Free membership for a month includes unlimited access to all their resources

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • If you’re homeschooling, check out the topics you’ll be tackling for the year and start downloading resources for those topics.
  • Their resources for science and history are top notch.
  • Don’t forget to check out the printables and 3D paper crafts (dinosaurs, totem poles, WW2 aircraft, to name a few!)

WHAT IS IT:

  • A website for ebooks, audiobooks and magazine articles
  • Usually, they charge for a monthly subscription but they are offering one month free
  • Free membership for a month includes unlimited access to all their resources (read as many books and listen to as many audiobooks as you can!)

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • They have a GREAT selection. A lot of the books on my wishlist are there!
  • I’m currently reading Liturgy of the Ordinary and Power of Moments. Also listening to Art of Making Memories.
  • Only downside is you can’t download the books to read on your Kindle. So I usually read on my desktop.
  • I use the audiobook feature a lot though because I listen while I work.
  • MUST CHECK OUT: Magic School Bus Read Along for your little ones!! If you have the books, you can play the audiobook version as they read! Complete with voice actors, sound effects and background music!
